The device is assembled by the customer.
Proceed as follows during assembly:
Open the machine.
Turn off the power to the machine.
Determine the optimal installation position: Place the VENCUBE as close as possible to the machine controls and payment systems. Make sure that the controls are easily accessible. Note the cable length.
Glue the base plate (holder) and screw it. (Image 1)
If gluing is not possible, the assembly click holder must be screwed diagonally to the designated points in the machine with at least 2 screws1). The screw heads must be complete
Sit flush and must not protrude. 1) Hardened countersunk self-drilling screw, ∅ 3.5 according to DIN 7504
Clip the VENCUBE into the base plate. (Image 2)
Remove the machine controls cover.
The machine must be voltage-free!
Disconnect all existing payment systems (1, 2) from the machine control. (Image 3)
Connect the cables from the VENCUBE:
Connect the (MDB) master connection (3) from the VENCUBE to the vending machine control. (Image 4)
Connect the (MDB) slave port (4) to all existing payment systems (5). If necessary, use a Y-cable. (Image 5)
If possible, glue the antenna (6) behind a plastic cover. (Image 6)
Route the antenna cable.
Lay all cables professionally with cable ties.
Never use the existing door switch of the machine, this can destroy the Vencube.
Always connect the door switch as closer to plug 1 with the Vencube. Use connector "COM" and connector "NO" from the switch.

Vencube Commissioning
Turn on the machine.
If necessary, adjust the Vencube using the Ventool.
If necessary, configure the machine control and the payment systems. You can find information on this in the wiki!
Wait until both LEDs turn green.
Close the door.
Test the machine by making a trial vend with change.
Open the door again.
Enter the data for VENSOFT (serial number, machine number).
Perform a cash withdrawal by pressing the “E” button on the Vencube until you hear a beep.
Step down with the B button to -Other settings and confirm again with E (OK).
Press button B until -MDB-Level- is displayed. Confirm again with E.
Now you can change the level with the A and B keys.
Level 3 must be set.
Confirm with E (OK) and exit the menu with the Menu button (press twice).
The vending machine must be switched off and on again once. Please wait a few seconds before turning it back on.
If the device does not have a display with buttons, the change can be made with the HENRI module.
Display value in the changer at address A009 must be changed from 0 to 1:
Press A and D simultaneously for 1 second.
Message "----" / "Fill" alternating with "AbCd" or "Full" is displayed.
Press Button-B (increase) to cycle through the different addresses.
After reaching address A009, press the C button to display the current setting status.
Set value must be changed from 0 to 1. (B button)
Now press the C button again to save the selection made.
Press key-A to return to address mode. Now press the A button again to exit the display mode.
If the VenCube is still making noise, the vending machine must be switched off for at least 15 seconds. After switching on again, the problem is then solved.

A more detailed description of the setting will follow at a later date.
After the VMC is switched on for the first time with the Vencube connected, there is increased data exchange between the controller and the Vencube. As a result, the VMC cannot be operated for up to ten minutes, or only very slowly, and coin acceptance and payout can be disrupted at the same time. After the waiting time, the machine will work again without any problems.
Note:
These VMC all have MDB interfaces, the Vencube should therefore also be operated directly via MDB without adapter boards or cable harnesses and not via BDV master cable. Depending on which cashless payment system is connected to the Vencube, a BDV or MDB slave cable is to be used here. For coin changers and bill readers, always MDB is preferable.
Note:
Depending on the type of VMC and the software version of the VMC, not all setting options may be available, and the points that are not available can then be skipped. It may also be possible that the setting items have a German or English name, or that the texts are displayed somewhat differently.
