Vencube assembly and commissioning

Mount the Vencube

The device is assembled by the customer. Proceed as follows during assembly: Open the machine. Turn off the power to the machine. Determine the optimal installation position: Place the VENCUBE as close as possible to the machine controls and payment systems. Make sure that the controls are easily accessible. Note the cable length. Glue the base plate (holder) and screw it. (Image 1) If gluing is not possible, the assembly click holder must be screwed diagonally to the designated points in the machine with at least 2 screws1). The screw heads must be complete Sit flush and must not protrude. 1) Hardened countersunk self-drilling screw, ∅ 3.5 according to DIN 7504 Clip the VENCUBE into the base plate. (Image 2) Remove the machine controls cover. The machine must be voltage-free! Disconnect all existing payment systems (1, 2) from the machine control. (Image 3) Connect the cables from the VENCUBE: Connect the (MDB) master connection (3) from the VENCUBE to the vending machine control. (Image 4) Connect the (MDB) slave port (4) to all existing payment systems (5). If necessary, use a Y-cable. (Image 5) If possible, glue the antenna (6) behind a plastic cover. (Image 6) Route the antenna cable. Lay all cables professionally with cable ties. Never use the existing door switch of the machine, this can destroy the Vencube. Always connect the door switch as closer to plug 1 with the Vencube. Use connector "COM" and connector "NO" from the switch.

Vencube Commissioning

• Turn on the machine.
• If necessary, adjust the Vencube using the Ventool.
• If necessary, configure the machine control and the payment systems.
  You can find information on this in the wiki!
• Wait until both LEDs turn green.
• Close the door.
• Test the machine by making a trial vend with change.
• Open the door again.
• Enter the data for VENSOFT (serial number, machine number).
• Perform a cash withdrawal by pressing the “E” button on the Vencube until you hear a beep.
• Close the door.
• Commissioning is complete.

Place Vencube as close as possible to the vending machine control and payment systems. Glue or screw the base plate into the machine. If the base plate is glued, please press it firmly into place without the Vencube. Power down the machine and disconnect all existing payment systems from the vending machine control. Connect the MDB master port from the VenCube to the vending machine control. Connect the MDB slave port to all existing payment systems. Y-cables should be used for additional MDB slave connections. Install door switch. Never use the existing door switch of the machine, this can destroy the Vencube. Always connect the door switch as closer to plug 1 with the Vencube. Use connector "COM" and connector "NO" from the switch.

Adjustment of prices

The sales prices must be set the same for the cash prices and for the card prices(cashless prices).

Setting the "No Change" Indicator

Adjust the setting in the "CONFY" menu item for the customer-specific setting under "C2" for determining the tube of the message: "Insert counted money only".

MDB MODE

If the tubes selected here are empty, "Insert only counted money" will be displayed.

A = tube with the smallest coin denomination

D = Tube with the highest coin value

If the tubes are empty according to the following configurations, the display will "Counted money" switched on

After entering the configuration number, save the setting with button 4

Set the number of coins in menu item "C03" level for display "Insert counted money only". When the number of coins set here (1 to 10) is reached, the display "Insert counted money only" is switched on. Ideally, 10 coins should be set here.

Adjustment of prices

The sales prices must be set the same for the cash prices and for the card prices (cashless prices).

No change display setting

In the settings menu 4.1.2.7 "Value for display only cash" set to the same value as in Vencube under Limit "No change".< br> If the condition of the change is not met, “ENTER EXACT CHANGE” will appear on the machine display.

This function is only taken into account if multiple sales are activated under 4.1.2.5.
