Vencube assembly and commissioning
Mount the Vencube
Vencube Commissioning
- Turn on the machine.
- If necessary, adjust the Vencube using the Ventool.
- If necessary, configure the machine control and the payment systems.
You can find information on this in the wiki! - Wait until both LEDs turn green.
- Close the door.
- Test the machine by making a trial vend with change.
- Open the door again.
- Enter the data for VENSOFT (serial number, machine number).
- Perform a cash withdrawal by pressing the “E” button on the Vencube until you hear a beep.
- Close the door.
- Commissioning is complete.
Preparing the IVC1 controller for use with a Vencube
Instructions for Eprom exchange at IVC1 vending machines


Software version IVC1 before 7_01 or without letter "C"
- Back up the configuration of the vending machine control with the "IVCProg" software (can only be run on Win98 and XP). So that the old setting can be restored under certain circumstances. However, restoring is only possible with the old E-Prom. (This is recommended, but not necessary) See operation IVCProg points 1 and 2
- Ensure that all retail prices are known
- Switch off machine
- Remove E-Prom with a suitable tool
- Insert E-Prom 7.01, pay attention to the installation direction (not the sticker but the notch in the E-Prom indicates the installation direction)
- Switch on machine
- Automation configuration 701VC (provided by S+M) transferred with "IVCProg". See operation IVCProg point 1 and 3
- Switch off machine
- Install Vencube with payment systems
- Install door switch if desired
- Switch on machine
- Note and adjust the display (assumption 0.05-xx.xxEUR) See operation IVCProg point 1 and 4
- Check the display
- Activate lift (if necessary)
- Set prices
- Adjust spirals
- Test machine
Software version IVC1 from 7_01 with letter C
- Save vending machine settings with IVC programmer. So that the old setting can be restored under certain circumstances. (This is recommended, but not necessary) See operation IVCProg points 1 and 2
- Ensure that all retail prices are known

- Install Vencube with payment systems

- Check the display
- Activate lift (if necessary)
- Set prices
- Adjust spirals

Operation IVCProg
- Preparations for reading the data of an IVC1 controller
- Turn off control
- Separate MDB payment system from the controller
- Connect the 7-pin DIN plug of the 'IVC level adapter' "IVC HC11 MDB" to the P7 socket on the IVC1 controller.
- Connect the MDB plug of the 'IVC level adapter' to the MDB socket of the controller
- Turn on the controller
- Start 'IVC-Programmer' by double-clicking the icon in the 'IVCPROG' group
- Reading data from an IVC controller
- To switch the IVC1 interface, press the S button once on the programming terminal to access service program 01 of the IVC1 controller. IVC1 controls with older program versions (below 3.8) must be switched to service program 15.
- Select the 'Read IVC' option in the 'File' menu of the main window. The course of the reading process can be observed. At the end of the process, the program version number of the IVC1 control and the release date are displayed. Confirm this with 'OK'.
- Select the 'Save As..' option in the 'File' menu of the main window. Give the file a unique name and save
- Write the data to an IVC controller
- To switch the IVC1 interface, press the S button once on the programming terminal to access service program 01 of the IVC1 controller. IVC1 controls with older program versions (below 3.8) must be switched to service program 15.
- Select the 'Open' option from the 'File' menu of the main window.
- Select the 701VC file
- Select the option 'IVC Write' in the 'File' menu of the main window. The course of the writing process can be observed.
- Changing the data of an IVC control
- Change of the text of the LCD display
- Select the 'LCD Display' option in the 'Edit IVC' menu of the main window
- Select the second line
- Change text from e.g. Change 0.05-2.00 to 0.05-10.00
- Confirm change with Apply
- Press the "OK" button
- Select the 'IVC Write' option in the 'File' menu of the main window. The course of the writing process can be observed.
- Change of the overall configuration SP15 button 9 (switch on from the lift)
- Select option 'SP15 Taste9' in the 'Edit IVC' menu of the main window
- Display "3060" without elevator; Ad "7060" with elevator
- Press the "OK" button
- Select the 'IVC Write' option in the 'File' menu of the main window. The course of the writing process can be observed.
- Change of the text of the LCD display
- Save changed configurations
- After making the change, select the 'Save As...' option from the 'File' menu of the main window. Give the file a unique name and save
- The configuration can then be loaded onto any controller with software 7.01. See point 3.
Preparing the IVC2 controller for use with a Vencube
Adjustment of the control
Several settings must be checked or adjusted.
Method:
- Press the SERVICE button on the IVC2 controller.
- Press the 0 button, then the SERVICE button again.
- Press the 0 key again.
- Now enter the 4-digit SCN (short code number). After entering the last digit, the selected menu item is displayed directly and can be edited.
- Now set the respective setting.
