Setting the cup cancellation function
Background
Many coffee machines allow you to add a cup to your drink or to reuse your own cup. Although this functionality has been part of the standard repertoire of high-quality coffee machines for many years, there is no uniform standard for communicating the use of the cup to downstream systems. The developments described here are intended to create a universal solution.
Setting options
There are two different ways to implement the cup cancellation function in Vensoft in conjunction with the Vencube:
- Cup cancellation via offset ⇒ Cups are transmitted from the machine controller using an offset value and converted in Vensoft.
- Cup cancellation via price difference with reduction ⇒ Cup price is subtracted if no cup is required.
