Problem Cause Rectification
The card number is not displayed in Vensoft. There is no cashless project planned. Please Create cashless projects.

No distinction between open loop and close loop card payment possible in Vensoft

Problem Cause Rectification
Open Loop card payment is marked as Close Loop or Close Loop is marked as Open Loop. Cashless Device Select is not configured correctly. Set Cashless Device Select.

The Vencube does not send

Problem Cause Rectification
The Vencube does not send Antenna not plugged in correctly? Check the position of the antenna in the Vencube
SIM card not inserted correctly? Check the location of the SIM card
Poor mobile reception? Test the external antenna (PUK antenna) and install it if necessary.
No mobile reception? Offline reading (in preparation!)
SIM card data volume reached? Please contact the Vencube hotline

The vending machine doesn't give change

Problem Root cause Rectification
The vending machine does not give change. The Vencube door switch reports an open door, the assembly of the door switch is incorrect.
Check the position of the door switch and set it correctly, then close the machine door.

Always connect the door switch to the Vencube as a closer at Contact 1.

No note acceptance / note reader is not getting released

Problem Cause Rectification
No note acceptance / note reader is not released Not enough change in the coin changer? Top up change.
Tube A (smallest coin value) not sufficiently filled? Fill tube A (smallest coin value) to at least 10 coins.
Lock mask incorrectly configured? Lock mask in the Ventool correctly configure.
Maximum credit too low Increase maximum credit with Ventool.

Sielaff

With Sielaff vending machines, "Please wait" appears in the vending machine display and no sale is possible

Problem Root cause Rectification
With Sielaff vending machines, "Please wait" appears in the vending machine display and no sale is possible. The Sielaff VMC sends data to the Vencube (e.g. errors, configuration, etc.)

The point in time and the amount of data or the importance is determined solely by the machine. This data cannot be rejected by the Vencube, nor can the time of processing be changed.

Here you can only wait until all messages have been sent, this can take a few minutes.

No coins accepted and no change given out at Sielaff machines

Problem Root cause Rectification
Sielaff machines cannot accept coins or give out change and "Please wait" appears in the machine display. The Sielaff Automat sends data to the VenCube (e.g. errors, configuration, etc.) After switching on the controller with the VenCube connected for the first time, there is an increased exchange of data between the controller and the VenCube. As a result, the control cannot be operated for up to ten minutes, or only very slowly, and coin acceptance and payout can be disrupted at the same time. The amount of data or the importance is determined solely by the machine. This data cannot be rejected by the VenCube, nor can the time of processing be changed. As a result, the control cannot be operated for up to ten minutes, or only very slowly, and coin acceptance and payout can be disrupted at the same time. Here you can only wait until all messages have been sent. After the waiting time, the machine will work again without any problems.

Sluggish menu navigation at Sielaff hot drinks vending machines

Problem Root cause Rectification
Sluggish menu navigation at Sielaff hot drinks machines. After opening the door of the Sielaff machine, there is an increased exchange of data between the machine control and the Vencube. As a result, the menu navigation of the machine behaves sluggishly. It can happen that, for example, the cleaning program cannot be called up as usual. This state lasts for about a minute, after which the machine can be operated as usual.

When free vend is activated, it is not possible to flush the Sielaff HG machine

Problem Root cause Rectification
When the free sale is activated, it is not possible to flush the Sielaff machine. The Vencube sends a "perpetual" credit.
  1. Press the C button on the Vencube once and the "perpetual" credit will be interrupted.
  2. Now the machine can be rinsed.
  3. After cleaning the machine, press the C button on the Vencube again.
  4. The "perpetual" credit for the Free Vend will be reactivated.

This function must be activated later with MA5*DFC*1 in newer firmware versions!

It is not possible to flush the Sielaff HG machine with a Girocard/credit card terminal

set the MDB polling rate to 100ms or 50ms!

Adjust the MDB polling rate only in selected individual cases!

The table shows the bit mask for the desired settings, please set appropriately.

The coin changer firmware is out of date. Use a money changer with the latest firmware.

Coinco

No coin acceptance of 1 EUR and 2 EUR at the coin changer Coinco Global

Problem Root cause Rectification
No coin acceptance of 1 EUR and 2 EUR at the coin changer Coinco Global.
  • Old coin software DM/EUR Version 3.00de.
  • The existing old DM coins affect the lock screens of the Vencube.

Update the Coinco coin changer or adjust the lock mask in Ventool.

After importing, switch off the machine and restart it.
